QUESTION: Dear me: I'm an Egyptian 45 years old pharmacist with a B.Sc. in biochemistry, M.Sc. in microbiology, and a B.Sc. in pharmacy with about 17 yeas experience in lab. work, about 2 years as a med. rap., and about 2 years as a community pharmacist. Please evaluate if I'm qualified for a position in your country or not.

Definitely, you are qualified. There are many places that you can apply. However, with the current economy and job marker, you may find it much harder since there are many people in USA that are either laid-off from their companies or work places and looking for a job or they are graduated and looking for a job. However, I would strongly suggest that start looking for jobs especially those that are in the hospitals or places such as CVS or Walgreen pharmacies.

HI there,
You are very welcome. Lab is better. If you are willing to do that, you have 1000 times more chance to get it since the NIH is giving grants out specially to cancer research. Therefore, I would strongly suggest to go for labs and try the ones that are working on cancer research and drug development. Do not apply for companies because you will have a very hard time getting it even though it is not impossible. Try the colleges and universities first.
