Hi This is a question in my homework-
A 9.65 mg sample of a compound containing only carbon, hydrogen and oxygen, is burned in excess O2 and the products include 22.90 mg of CO2 and 5.47 mg of H2O.
What is the empirical formula for this compound? (topic:empirical formulas using combustion train analysis)

I'm sorry but I am unable to answer you question for now. I might come back to it in a couple of days. I fractured my ankle and dislocated my knee, and haven't really felt like doing anything remotely related to chemistry for the past few days.
