Answer
Hi Sandra,  (I assume you fat-fingered your own name?)

This is a very vague question and I can't answer it with the limited question you have left.

Meanwhile, you should realize that:
1. Any time you have a career change, your usually take a salary hit.  The exception is when you stay within the same network (e.g. organization) and people are willing to take chance on you because you have a track record.
2. You will need to work your way up again.

That said, getting your foot in a door is probably the most difficult.  Try to use your network and see if someone can vouch for the quality of work you have produced in the past.

Feel free to provide me with more information, if you would like a more in-depth answers.

Good Luck,

Leigh
