Answer The shortest way to promotion is finding a job. Employers often find it difficult to promote people because that person has responsibilities that is often difficult to transfer.
The absolute fastest way is to get to a leadership position and get hired into another firm as a manager. But it is also the riskiest because you have no credibility and will often get very little or no support, and often expected to put in extra work/hours in return for the opportunity.
