Question
What is the ACLS algorithm for asystole?

Answer
If this is for the AHA algorithm, equipment is functioning properly and showing asystole in a pulseless patient, continue CPR in 2 minute cycles and use the following acronym:
PEA
where:
P is for problem search (differential diagnoses such as, e.g.           pulmonary  embolism w/ no pulse or tension pneumothorax w/ no pulse) Treat accordingly. If asystole algorithm is indicated:
E is for Epinephrine 1 mg IV/IO q3-5 min. Or vasopressin 40 U IV/IO, once, in place of the 1st or 2nd dose of epinephrine.
A is for Atropine 1 mg IV/IO q3-5 min. ( up to 3mg max.)
As always ABC's should be a first priority on initial assessment and thereafter as treatment proceeds. If this is not what you are looking for please be more specific.
