Question
I'm planning on making air traffic controlling my career after hopefully making it
into Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. That is what this project is about. It's
not really homework.

Answer
Dear Chris,
I'm not really sure what you are asking.  In the Center we have a number of systems that we use to control air traffic, we use different kinds of computers to process flight plans, radar, and atc information.  If you are interested in a specific piece of equipment you can research through the FAA website or do a search with Google.  I don't think that any of the systems are classified, but I would feel uncomfortable discussing them on an open forum.

Good Luck.
