Question
i am a student in high school and want to go into ATC i was wondering if a should get a two year or four degree? will it affect  your salary?

Answer
Hi Dometric,

It shouldn't matter whether you have a two year or a four year degree as far as you faa salary is concerned.  You have to pass the A
TSAT in order to get hired.  Go to the FAA website and look at the requirements to become an air traffic controller.  I encourage you to get a four year degree, if for some reason you do not pass the ATSAT or the FAA training program you will at least have your diploma to fall back on.

Good luck.
