Question
I graduated recently as an aircraft/aviation maintenance engineer in Russia. I would have liked to apply for  a certificate/license program in either Canada  or U.S. , which type of certificate/License program is offered in the respective countries. The duration and cost of the programs ,eligibility of a non citizen.

Regarding US certificate programs, you might check with two sources to obtain a listing:

The website of the Federal Aviation Administration:  Check for FAR 147 Aircraft Maintenance Technician Training Schools. www.faa.gov

The website of the University Aviation Association:  ORDER THIS PUBLICATION:  THE COLLEGIATE AVIATION GUIDE.  www.uaa.aero

Once you receive a listing, then, write to schools you are interested in to ask them about duration, costs, etc.
