Question
hello my name is jamie and i have always wanted to be a airline pilot and i have no idea where to start so please can you help me
thank you jamie

Answer
Hello Jamie,
There are many steps to becoming an airline pilot.  The certifications that are required are:
Private Pilot
Instrument rating
Commercial Pilot
Multi-engine rating
Airline Transport Pilot
You will also need experience with these ratings.  Most airlines require a college degree also.  I strongly suggest that you consider an aviation college such as Embry-Riddle Aviation University (www.erau.edu).  These universities can offer the training, experience and networking that you will need.
I also have included some web sights that might help answer some of your questions.  Check them out and good luck!
