Question
Dear David,
I am a 19 years old African cadet pilot from Sudan. I have just completed my PPL course, and I am now moving on to complete my CPL/IR. I am also testing for a frozen ATP, as well as CRM course. Job opportunities in this part of the world are very scarce.  Airlines are always looking for qualified pilots, who hold type ratings. Personally I can not finance my own type rating, and frankly I would like to accumulate some hours, and unlock my ATP. So I need your advice as to what to do after graduating, because I am seriously beginning to worry about it.
P.S. Having the knowledge to give advice is a blessing. Thank you for sharing your blessing with those who need it.

Ahmed

Answer
Hello Ahmed,
I suggest that you try flight instructing.  This will allow you to gain experience and hours to log while you are getting paid.  This is a common route that most pilots take here in the US.  i suggest that you contact various schools and aviation universities to see what they could offer you.
Good luck!
