Question
hi,am akanksha am doing b.sc in hospitality and hotel management and am interested i aviation but i have weak eyesight,is it mandatory for cabin crew to have 6/6 eyesight.if so what shall i do?

Answer
Since I am in the United States, my profile says I cannot address airline  careers queries from other countries. From you question, it seems this is the case (India perhaps as you say "6/6"?). However, the requirements for cabin crew (or any other position) can usually be found on the airlines recruitment page. (This is the case in the USA anyway.) If they are not, you should check with your desired airline by phone or mail. That is the only way to know the exact vision requirements you must meet, as it may differ by company.

Some Indian examples-

Vision : Preferably normal eyesight without glasses;or minimum uncorrected vision (distant) should be 6/24 in each eye.
