Hello my name is Lawrence and I recently graduated from college with a degree in History. I am looking at attending a flight school in Florida and becoming an airline pilot. However I am having trouble financing the academy of my choice. I have been searching online for scholarship information, but come across a lot of information regarding scholarships for current college students who have are majoring in the field. My question is if you have any information about financing or scholarship information that may help me?

There are three main sources of information on aviation scholarships and financing:
1. The flight schools or academies that you are planning on attending might have some financing plans that will work for you.
2. The University Aviation Association has a COLLEGIATE AVIATION SCHOLARSHIP LISTING available at www.uaa.aero You can view it on line or you can purchase a copy for your personal use.
3. There is a website with some pretty good aviation financial aid and scholarship information: www.avscholars.com
