Question
how are where do you start to become a airline pilot

Answer
Hi Jamie,
To begin with, airlines require a college degree.  If you do not have one, I suggest that you attend an aviation college such as Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (www.erau.edu).  Another site that you might try is:http://www.avhome.com/fschools.html
These should help you get started.  These schools can get you your degree as well as flight training that is required.

Now, if you have a degree already, I suggest that you look at your local airport and begin by getting your private pilot license.  From there, your instructor will be able to guide you through the steps.

Good Luck,
