QuestionI recently got my single engine commercial pilots license and was planning on becoming a cfi but ran out of money. I have around 250 hours and all my training was done 141. I was wondering if you had any information on jobs for low time pilots?
Answermichael,
you should try tow banning (excellent time builder), agricultural aviation is another time builder (check agricultural sprayers in your city and state), glider towing is also an option. Really good time builder is flying parachuters in parachuting zone. That will get you 100's of hours really fast expecially during season. Find closest parachute zone and start bugging pilots that fly those planes if they could recommend you. Bring lot resumes, do not be shy to ask everybody on airport. Usually you 'll find somebody who understand and has been in your shoes.
Good Luck
