QuestionHello my name is Aldo I am a senior in Las Vegas. I am an avarage student in my high school, I participated in basketball in my freshman and sophmore year. I was in a vocational school to learn about air condition but it stop catching my attention anf I just moved to a public school. I have recently decided to attend the air force and become a pilot. I hear the process is hard and competitive, I am up for the challange. I was wondering if you could help me on how to become a pilot or wat steps I have to go through, do I have to attend the AFA or enroll on in a ROTC program.
AnswerHi Aldo,
so you will be an gradute of high school soon, that is fantastic. It is true process for millitary pilots are tough and hard, but I like to say it is brutal too. ROTC programs are widely available and they can give you foot inside on Air Force. But if you are thinking about serious career as an Naval Aviator you are definetelly looking for AFA.
Here is the link for ROTC programs, as I said they are widely available through local collegues.
