Careers: Flying & Aviation - VFR guide/handbook

Expert: Ismar Avdic, Eng. - 10/1/2009

Question
I want to know your opinion about the visual flight guides/handbooks. Are such editions are trustable (with correct data) or it is better to use official AIS providers' publications (AIPs). Which general aviation publications/web sites you can recommend to use (interested in info/data for PPL flying in Europe).
Kind regards,

Answer
Arina,
either publication ,private or goverment AIS sould be an correct data source as long as they are CURRENT.
Regarding the website for general aviation in england I would suggest you to check with www.aopa.org and get web link for AOPA in Europe and England. AOPA has great soutrce of information either in Europe or USA.
Another good web site is www.airnav.com (CAUTION I am not sure if they do provide information about England airports)

Ismar
