Dear Mr. Grant:

My name is Scott Thomson and I am a junior in high school near Athens, GA. I am looking to become an air traffic controller for my career. I am planning on either Middle Georgia College or Embry Riddle for college. I was wondering if you knew of any FAA internships that would be opening in the summer of 2009. I read that you work at ZTL. Does the ZTL artcc have opportunities for internships? Thank you for your time.

Hi Scott,

   I am not aware on any internships in FAA facilities. The only ways that I know to get hired:  apply under Jobs on the FAA website (look for All Sources), Graduate from a CTI School, or get hired from the military under the VRA veterans adjustment act and pass the ATSAT.

Under all of these options you still have to pass the ATSAT.
