AboutIsmar Avdic, Eng. Expertise Providing answers about aviation industries, pilot requirments, pilot supplies, pilot training, new technologies in aviation industries
Im Sara Id like to find out what to do next to try and start my career in Aviation.
Im a born and raised British girl who loves all things planes!
I have just completed my two year FDSc in Aviation Management Operations at London Metropolitan university.
I wanted to find out if its possible to study my third year (BSc) in the US (or its equivalent).
Over here it is an optional step to 'top up' and get a Full BSc so I just wondered in which situation it would be enough to just have a foundation degree and what type of job I could get with it.I would love to work in Airport planning and expansion!
Im less excited about working for and airline unless it is an established one i.e Virgin,BA etc.
Hope all of this makes sence, please fell free to ask me any other information you may require in order to answer my inquiry!
Thank You
Sara
Answer Ok you would like to continue your education in USA in the field of Aviation Management. If that is the case you have to first get admited in an aviation college with Aviation Management as your major, and there is about few dozens collegies that actually provide that courses as an major. However, there is only 1-4 that are really worth of their price. I do stronly suggest Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) www.erau.edu.
ERAU is one of the most famous aviation universities that offers complete spectrum of aviation degrees.
