Question
Hello,
im graduating after a week from high school. i still dont know which major i should go to. im interested in aviation, i really want to be a pilot but for some reason i dont think there are good chances of suceeding in this job because of low opportunities for girls in this job. so i want a job similar to a pilot, i mean in the aviation industry. im good at physics and math, what should i study, oh yeah and i prefer a ground job

Answer
Hi jennifa,
First off, I think that you have the wrong idea, there are plenty of jobs in aviation for females. There is equal opportunity in all areas. There are many jobs other than pilot.  Here are a few sites for you to look at:

http://www.avjobs.com/careers/index.asp

http://www.khake.com/page41.html

http://jobs.faa.gov/

You should become focused and decide what interests you.  I would also like to suggest that if you contact any of these training facilities that you use proper grammar and spelling.  Your first impression will make a difference.
Good Luck,
Dave Bidwell
