1) What an aviation manager has to do? what is their job? Is this a flying or non-flying job?

As my profile states, I cannot address questions about aviation management careers. The types of positions and job duties vary greatly.

However, most 'management' jobs are non-flying. I do know that pilot and flight attendant managers or supervisors at the airlines I have worked for occasionally are called upon to fly to maintain their currency on the job or to fill in when short staffed.

2) Is their any other job in flight accept flight attendant and pilot?

No, not really. One exception: Flight Engineeer. There are very few carriers that still have three person cockpits (the norm on older 60's & 70's era jets). In this case they also have a Flight Engineer however this person is usually a company pilot as well who doesn't have enough tenure with the company to fly as a pilot. (Others have reached the retirement age and if they wish to continue to 'fly', they go back to Engineer.)

Pursers or other 'head' cabin crew are also flight attendants.

Dottie
