Answer
Distinguishing between Aerospace Studies and Aero Engineering

Aerospace Engineering is just that- engineering degrees with various aviation applications. The coursework depends on the institution. As my profile states I cannot address aero engineering topics or degree programs.

Aerospace Studies can mean a broad variety of topics in aviation including various management degrees, professional pilot, human factors or aviation safety degrees. The degrees (and curriculum) offered vary by institution.

Here is the Embry-Riddle degree program list-
http://www.erau.edu/degrees/all-degrees.html

Yes, they are one of the better known schools in the United States. The best for you could be any number of schools with your desired curriculum, tuition and location. Go to this site for a listing of U.S. aviation universities and schools- http://www.uaa.aero
There you will find weblinks to different schools where you can find more information about their degree programs and tuition costs. You will have to check with each school individually for this information.

I see no reason why you couldn't major in one and minor in the other. It is your education, so you can chose your studies providing you can afford it. (I cannot provide you info about student aid or scholarships for such degrees).

Regards,
Ms. Norkus
