Question i want to know what degrees i need to become a commercial pilot and the universities i can attend in usa i am 14 and i am from jamaica in high school
Answer Christopher
You can major in any subject you like. Pick what interests you so you will get good grades. You don't have to have a degree in aviation. In fact, many think it is best to major in anything else so you will have something to fall back on in case you are ever laid off from your pilot job. However almost all U.S. majors prefer a bachelors degree and many require one. The regional airlines usually want an associates degree.
If you want to attend school here in the USA, there are thousands to pick from. I can't really recommend just one school. If you are interested in pursing an aviation related degree I suggest looking over the list of institutions at The University Aviation Association http://www.uaa.aero
Since you are from Jamaica, you would be an "out of state student" so your tuition will likely be higher than a resident. You would have to check with specific schools for their prices. Also, know that some schools may cost upwards of $100,000 for a 4 year degree with flight training.
