Question
hi ive always wanted to become an airline pilot... the problem is is that last year when i was 17 i got arrested and commited and sentenced to a placement for 9 months for (4 felonies) and 3 misdemenors the felonies are burglary poss of stolen property intimitation of witness and theft... my records were sealed and expunged my PO said that civil employers wont be able to see em but the military and FBI will... i was wondering if i could still become an airline pilot//? thanks

Answer
That is good question Vlad. I have a few of my colleeges has been arrested driving drank and managed to get with an USA airline as airline pilot. So that really depends from airline to airline and how they will look at your disclosure of felonies and misdemenors. But good news is it is possible as long as you honest and disclose all relevant information during hiring process. But be ready for disappontment, none of airlines are watching favorable somebody with history, when they have a plenty applicants that are competing to get job and they have clean slack and education and flight time......
But do not get discouraged, it is possible.
