2.and what different mba's are available in aviation?
3.what is the chance that i getting a job after my mba in usa as i am an indian.as i heard that they are related to Federal, so non us citizens might not get a job?
Answer Hi,
One of the things to watch for in making the shift from computers to an MBA would be the pre-requisites that you will likely have to take before entering the MBA program.....those are classes that are business, management, accounting and finance in nature that you most likely did not take for your computer degree. You will have to take such classes before entering an MBA.
As far as MBA programs in aviation in the USA, I am aware of two:
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida has one on-line and one on their main campus
Daniel Webster University, Nashua, New Hampshire, has one on-line
As far as obtaining a job in aviation in the USA after completing an MBA in aviation in the usa, it will depend totally on how the economy is doing at the time that you earn your degree. In most cases, an employer will have to justify hiring you over hiring a resident of the USA in order for you to be issued a visa to work here. This justification will most likely be based on your unique qualifications as a worker compared to the jobs open in the job market. Right now, that is a tough justification to make because the job market is so narrow and tight....in two to three years it will most likely be better and easier to make the justification. As far as work locations for an MBA in aviation, you can look at airlines, airports, airport consultant firms, aviation manufacturers (non-military) and some other supporting companies.
