Question
Hi Dave,

I am 32 and I want to start a flight career, but I am worried about two things: Money and Age. I am planning to start with the private pilot course and take the virtual sim. After I can start taking hours of flight but I cannot spend all money in flying because in the other hand I have a child to take care. So, what do you recommend could be the right way and if it is difficult to me to start this carreer, I want yo to advice me.

Answer
Alejandro,
Flight training is expensive. You might be able to get a part time job at an airport to pay for it.  The only other thing that I can suggest would be to get a student loan.  There just is no easy solution.  As for age, You are still pretty young.  I have an acquaintance that started at age 44 and did well.  I would not let your age discourage you.
I am sorry that I do not have a magic answer for the cost.  You need to approach it like you would going to college.
Good luck,
Dave Bidwell
