Question
Sir, i am am pursuing aircraft maintainance engineering, and now i have found that i have little colour defective vision though i can easily differentiate between red and green colours(as in traffic lights). i have spent lakhs on my course and this is my 2nd year,

Please suggest what should i do, i am perturbed about my career.

Hi ankush,
that should not be creating you any problems, as you are not required to take medical exams, like we pilots have to do. Based on regulations in USA you are not required to take medical exam as you are an aviation maintenence engineer. However, I do not know where in world you are taking your education for aviation maintenence. In general some countries have different regulations, but as an aviation maintenance engineer and red/yellow (daltonism) deficiency never should be an issue.
