Im looking for an Aviation Maintenance training program (A&P ?) at a school located in Arizona, that specializes in Helicopters as opposed to fixed wing aircraft. Not having luck locating anything so far, do you know of any ?

Hi Gene,
I do not have sources for AZ. Although A&P programs all around USA are assebmled to introduce you in an extensive maintenance procedures that are applicable both to airplanes and helicopters. Majority schools that I know they do have airplanes and some really nice schools they do have also few helicopters that are used by students for classes and projects.
Down In California most famous school for an A&P proram is definetelly Costa Mesa Community College (aviation maintenance dept.)
I would suggest you to call FSDO (FAA) closes to you place you live and ask them for list of all certified FAA aviation schools, close to you, and start calling them and get more info directly from school. Once you find I would make trip to school and see what they do have...
