Question
Hello,
Suppose the aircraft last position (Latitude & Longitude) is known & we have data of its airspeed, heading, pitch angle & roll angle .
how can I Calculate the next exact Position of this aircraft by using the above data ?

Answer
Hi there,

Thanks for your question...

here is the answer...

The use of Dead Reckoning will give you your next postion.

Dead Reckoning: A method of navigation based on basic information (barometric altitude, magnetic heading, airspeed, wind conditions) from best available source; sometimes short for air data dead reckoning.

To further study this, you can go to...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ded_reckoning... to get an idea of what DR is and then make up an example for yourself to put it in practice... it usually involves plotting a Wind Triangle, inputting your information and then arriving at your answer.

Thanks and happy plotting...:-)
