Question
Hello, I'm Mohamed Beevi. I live in thailand. I work and had been working as a teacher for the past 6+ years, but my passion is to study airport management & make a career out of it. Due to many valuable reasons i couldn't study MBA earlier.  I'm planning to do it now & only through correspondence. Do u think i can still make it considering the fact that i'm 29 now.

Answer
Hi, Mohamed:

Nice to hear from you, I will try to assist!

First of all, I believe that anyone can do anything if they want to do it badly enough.  Second, age should not be a factor, but, money and time will be important factors.

That is, it will cost a fair amount of money to do an on-line (I assume that is what you mean by "correspondence") MBA in Aviation or Airport Management.  Such degrees are available from a few institutions of higher education around the world but most of the reputable programs will cost $25,000 US and up.  And, a key thing to keep in mind about MBA programs is that they also have pre-requisite coursework in such undergraduate courses like accounting, finance, marketing and general business.  If you do not have these pre-requisite courses, that will add to the time and cost.

One final factor to consider is that, if you want to work in the airport management or administration field, you will need some sort of work experience to gain entrance into the field.  Some graduate programs have internships that you can utilize to gain such experience.  Look for that as a part of the program that you select.

I hope that this helps you.

Best wishes,
