Question
Hello Mr. Grant,

My name is Christopher Owens and I recently got out of the U.S. Army on September 9, 2004.  I was an air traffic controller (tower) for 5 years.  I got out of the army not knowing how difficult it is to find a position.  I was wondering if I could send you my resume to glance at and let me know if theres anything I can do to help.  I really need a job and quite capable of controlling traffic.  I am just having problems getting my foot in the door.  I would appreciate any help you could provide.  Thank you for your time.

Chris

Answer
Hi Christopher,
The best advice that I can give you is to go to the FAA website and look under employment opportunites.  The site is http://www.faa.gov/careers/employment/atc.htm
I don't know if this applies to you or not.  The FAA is supposted to start hiring soon, or so I have heard, but I don't know when.  Keep watching the FAA site for updates that all that I can suggest.

Good luck
