Careers: Flying & Aviation/Advice on Commercial piloting

Question
Hi David,
I need an advisor for my piloting career. I am an Indian and would like to branch out into the field. I have done my basic 12 years of education with an undergrad in Economics. I was wondering where I should go from here and how do I get about attaining what I want to. I would appreciate it, if you could take me through a step by step instruction about the pre-requisits, right through to the final step of aviation. Well, I do know that its one long story, hope that you wont find it hard to condense it and would get in touch with me as soon as possible.
Thank you,
With best wishes for a great life ahead..

Answer
Hello Michele,
You are asking for an enormous amount of information.  Unfortunately, I can only answer specific questions because many of the answers that you seek will depend upon which school you decide to train at.  I suggest that you contact the following two addresses.  These people can give you specific information.  The first web I give has an International component and can surely help if you are not residining in the US.  The addresses are: www.aopa.org and www.flightsafety.com.

Good luck and if you should have specific questions let me know and I will try to help.
