Careers: Flying & Aviation/Aviation Market

Question
What is the market like for cargo pilots?  I'd be interested in flying, but have no desire to be an "airline" pilot per se.  I'd be more interested in cargo or smaller private planes.

Answer
Hi Don,
First off, let me apologize for not getting back to you in a timely manner. Unfortunately my computer had decided to crash. Well, I'm back.
To answer your question: There is a rather large maket for cargo pilots. Just look at Fed Ex and UPS never mind the small carriers. There is also a very large market for flying cancelled checks overnight. There is also a very large market for corporate pilots. I suggest that you look into getting your license first. I'm sure that your instructor can help you get on the right track. Good luck! If I can answer anything else, let me know.
