Answer
Hi, Rahul:

It is nice to hear from you....I will try to assist.

I think that the key thing is that you are an engineer and that you are interested in working for Boeing or Airbus...both companies hire significant numbers of engineers.  In addition to those two companies, remember that there will be a number of airlines there in India (Spicejet, Kingfisher, Air India and others) that, due to the purchase of a large number of new aircraft, will also need engineers to oversee their aircraft maintenance programs.  Also, there are MRO companies (maintenance repair organizations) that will spring up to handle the maintenance contracts for airlines unable or unwilling to do their own major overhaul aircraft maintenance.

There are a number of websites that list aviation jobs, including:

www.airjobsdaily.com

www.aviationemployment.com

www.aeps.com

www.avcrew.com

And, do not forget to consult the Boeing website at www.boeing.com  ....  remember that Boeing only accepts resumes via their website.  Or, for the Airbus company, consult:  www.airbus.com/en/

With regard to the IATA on-line courses, yes, ANYTHING that will add aviation knowledge to your education and training will be helpful.  It will also show any aviation company with which you apply for a position that you are interested in learning more and, in fact, have already begun to learn more about the aviation inudustry.

I wish you the best of luck in your career search,
