What does it take to get into this field & how do I go about applying at Los Angeles International Airport?

Hi Aaron,
  Things seem to be in limbo now with that FAA.  They are supposed to hire 1000 controls for the next couple of years, but the have suspended the MARKS school and the CTI programs.  The best way is to go the FAA Job oppurtunity web site and see what is available.  The site is: http://www.faa.gov/careers/employment/jobinfo.htm
