Careers: Flying & Aviation/Flight time conversion

Question
I am retiring from the military and am looking for a career in the civilian aviation market. In the military we start our flight time when the skids/wheels leave the ground. IAW the FARs, flight time begins when the aircraft begins its taxi. I have been told that we can convert some of this lost flight time (from helicopters with wheels) and I was told that it was as much as 1.3 times the T/T. However, the FAA could not confirm this. Do you have any feedback from the civilian employers on this topic?
Also, is there a site where I can obtain the pay charts or appx. pay for various companies, i.e., PHI, Air-Logistics, ERA Helicopters, etc?

Thank you.

You can find info about military to civilian flight time conversions here- http://airlinepilotcentral.com/resources/job_search_resources/military_flight_ti...

As far as pay scale, the site that hosts the link above is the definitive source for pilot pay scales. However it is all fixed wing and airline or cargo. As an airline pilot, I am not aware of any sites that have pay scales for helicopters. You should try http://www.verticalreferance.com as they have many resources and a message board where you can ask your question.

Good Luck
