Question
Hi.
I'm Brazilian and I have a Commercial Pilot License, with IFR and multiengine ratings valid in Brazil. How can I convert these licenses to FAA? It will be hard to find a job, considering that I am foreign? I am looking for any kind of job. Thanks for helping me

Answer
Hi,

Your best bet is to visit an office of the Federal Aviation Administration near you to present your certificates and discuss with them the process of converting them to for use in the USA.  The FAA's website is www.faa.gov  and you can then use that site to scan the different locations of FAA regional offices and district offices.  Find the one nearest you and get in contact with them.

Best wishes to you,
