Question
Good day Sir,
I am curious to know if safety pilot time can be logged as PIC?
Is safety pilot time required to be logged as Second in Command?

Please advice.

Answer
Hello Jascha,
No, a safety pilot connot be logged as PIC unless the saftey pilot is a qualified CFI.  Logging second in command is not allowed either.  There is no benefit to logging second anyway.  It serves no purpose.  Hope this answered your questions.
