Question
Certainly! I would love to have a copy of the CRJ manual, if I could!
What information would you need from me?
Would you also happen to have anything that might provide a good explanation on FMS and the latest avionics in todays jets?

Thanks so much.

Question -
Greetings,

Are there DVD's available that provide a detailed explanation on the following:
- FMS
- Boeing 737NG (systems)
- CRJ (systems)
I am more of a visual person; I am able to comprehend and have a better grasp of things when I see them.
I would greatly appreciate if you could guide me on how and where I could go about acquiring them.

Thanks in advance!

Of course there is DVD's and also simulators for FMS, Boeing 737NG and CRJ. While the this equipment is intended for airliner training, it is not cheap. I can ask around but I know from the fact that crj training DVD and also FMS traininer and airplane ops manual could be price items, ranging from $500 to complete sets of manuals and DVD, FMS simulator could range to $14-20K.  Cheap version of 737NG is Flight One Simulator for 737NG designed simulator to be installed on the top of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. It cost around $60-80 for software.
If you are really interested in CRJ manuals I can probably get you copy of one.

I would like to know how old you are, the reason the CRJ manuals are written for somebody who is already pilot and familiar with the terms. Those manuals do not teach pilot how to fly plane. It is ONLY guide to follow about specifications like airspeed, suggested rate of descent, suggest throttle positions for different segments of flight and so on. How the air conditioning operate and so on about airplane systems.

Actually B737NG software from Simulation One will be better option for you, because they have a file that explain every component on airplane, as well simulator 737NG hsas an active FMS, so you can learn how to program and and fly airplane.

Sent me your e-mail address and I will forward you file in PDF format that explain every system component on 737NG. Make sure that you e-mail accont can handle big size of attachment.
