Question
Hi

I recently got my o'level results and did considerably very well attaining A and B grades, and i've now moved on to A'Level

My questions are:
1)I have started studying Math Chem and economics and wanted to find out if i could still qualify for cadet programs since they stress for Physics
2)i would also like to find out if you know of any organisations/banks/colleges/universities that offer full training funding to international students

1)I have started studying Math Chem and economics and wanted to find out if i could still qualify for cadet programs since they stress for Physics

In the USA, where I live, there are no airline sponsored cadet programs nor is the course study of ones degree important. Airlines here expect their applicants to come already qualified with the requisite flight time and a degree in any subject matter. Hence, I cannot advise on cadet programs as they do not exist in my country.

2)i would also like to find out if you know of any organisations/banks/colleges/universities that offer full training funding to international students.

That depends on what country and what school you are doing your training!

Many places here in the USA offer funding, but not scholarships or grants for the full amount of the training cost. There are literally several hundred flight schools to pick from and the payment options vary by the school. (These schools are independant of any university degree program.) If you intend to train in the USA, I can provide you with information and websites that will be of assistance. This site offers some options to go about financing here:

www.pilotfinance.com

In addition, the link for the University Aviation Association lists member collegiant schools in the US and the scholarships they offer:

http://uaa.auburn.edu/msie.htm

If you are a female, organizations like the Ninety Nines & Women In Aviation provide flight scholarships and grants.

Since it appears you live in the UK, as you mentioned "O levels", I think you should post your question at the predominantly British & European pilot message forums at this link for responses from pilots who fly there and have experience with such programs. (You can also do a search on cadet programs and see the posts that are already there.)

The Professional Pilots Rumour Network-
www.pprune.org

This link will be your best resource and the posters there should be able to anwser your querries in detail. Sorry I can't provide more info, but my forte is flight training and pilot careers in the USA only.

Good Luck
