Question
Hi. I was wondering if you would be able to tell me the average salary of an Air Traffic Controller. Also, if you have any knowledge about pursuing a career as a Pilot. Thanks!
Hi Caitlin,
I don't know what the average salary of an air traffic controller is. I am sure that it would vary depending on the facility and the location. Most en route facilities would be at least over $100,000 at this time, however the new pay scales have gone into effect for new hires. At my facility the new pay scale with locality pay would be about $80,000 to 120,000.
I know nothing about pursuing a career as a pilot, sorry.
