Question
1.What are he requirements to be an Air Traffic Controller?

2.What is the pay?

3.Are you trained or are do you have to take classes on your own at a special school?

4.Is it hard work?

Answer
Dear Imran,
The requirements are listed on the FAA website. The site is:  http://www1.faa.gov/careers/employment/atc.htm
The pay varies by facility with the higher facilites starting with as much as $100,000 for a new Certified Professional Controller (CPC).
A number of colleges and universities around the country have the Air Traffic Control major.  See the FAA website above.  However, after completion of the school you must still certify and that usually takes between 2-3 years of additional training.
It is not physically hard, but sometimes it can be mentally trying.
It is a great job for those of us who love to do it.

I hope this helps.
