Careers: Flying & Aviation/Scholarships for women

Question
Hi!

I'm interested in any info you have about scholarships for women wanting to become a pilot. I've put this dream off for years because of the cost :-(
Thanks for the help!

While I was flight training, I kept a list of flight scholarships for women. Most such awards are given by chapters of the "Ninety-Nines", aka the International Organization for Women Pilots, and are one time awards for $500-$1,000 to help defray costs. There are a few that cover most of the Private Pilot but that is rare.

Check out my page on Flight Scholarships here to see my list-

While I try to keep it current, some info may need to be updated as it is quite a task to keep up on every individual scholarship.

Hope this helps.
