Answer
Hi,

Unfortunately, I am not aware of what is available in the New Delhi area in terms of helicopter training.  You might want to do a Google or Yahoo search on this topic.  As far as general advice on the subject of helicopter flying, helicopters have crucial roles in such things as:

Military flying applications
Agricultural appilcations
Law Enforcement and Security appilcations
Corporate and Business Air Transportation
Sightseeing applications

However, due to their limited size, there are few applicatiosn in terms of airline flying and large commercial applications.  So, fixed wing aircraft flying generally has more opportunities.

Your plan to apply for the Indian Air Force (IAF) is a good one since a majority of helicopter pilots in most nations are trained by the military.  That is a good way to get your training and then, once your military obligation is fulfilled, you can move your skills into the civilian world.

I am sorry, I do not know what the NCC is and what the significance of being a second year cadet would be....perhaps another expert can assist with that.

My very best wishes to you,
