i am currently enrolled to start college soon as an aeronautical engineering major. i have had an infatuation for planes all of my life and have chosen this major beacuse of that. i was wondering how much an air traffic controller's salary is, and if being one would satisfy my love for planes. thanks!

Dear Steven,
    Sorry for the delay, the power has been out here in Memphis.  An Air Traffic Controllers salary depends on the facility.  I would estimate from $90,000 to $150,000 depending on the facility.  The terminal option may satisfy your love for airplanes, but the En-Route option will not, we just sit in a room and control aircraft via a radar scope.
