Sir,Iam completing B.E. mechanical from mumbai,india and keen to join the aviation industry as an engineer/pilot .
So i would like to use your expetise in the industry for guiding me to get a good and bright career in aviation in India or Abroad?

Thanks for your question.

The fact is that you can have a career as an engineer in aviation, especially working for the aircraft manufacturers or for the larger airlines or maintenance/repair organizations (MROs).....or, you can have a career as a pilot.  

The problem on the pilot side is that you must have specific pilot training which takes time and costs quite a bit of money, depending on where you do the training.  So, the key on the pilot side is planning on doing the training and also on gaining the needed experience to fly for the larger airline or corporations where they flying pays off from the viewpoint of salary earned.

Some of the larger airlines in India, I believe, are embarking on pilot training programs....you might check with Kingfisher, Indian, Air India and the others to see what they might be able to offer.
