Question
I have over 15 years in Hotel/Resort Marketing & Sales with 4-5 Star
Companies.  Currently in Hawaii, I want to relocate and live overseas
preferably the UK. In the past when I wanted a change in position or location,
would go directly to the Hotel Chain, contact person, in-house relocate etc.
Since this is overseas would you suggest going through a reputable
hospitality executive search firm? or should I send my resume to the
International Sales Offices. Any advice would be appreciated.

Answer
Dear Leila,
Do what you do best. Sell and Market yourself. Create your brand and send your CV to as many search firms and hospitality companies as you can. Unfortunately it often turns out to be a numbers game. The more contacts you make the better. Also, ask former employers if they have any contacts in the UK. You will be surprised.
Good Luck, Get Busy!
