Question
After obtaining a b.s. in HRM, and also having 4 yrs experience in the hospitality industry, how much can i expect to earn annually in a management type position for a full service, boutique hotel?

Answer
Salaries range tremendously depending on the city, location, size of hotel, and managment company.  Depending on which department you obtained the 4 years of experience makes a big difference as well.

Finally, depending on how you interview and how badly the hotel company wants you will make a difference as well.  Range could be from 40-85K or more.  The good news is, you have lots of potential.  But there is no set salary.

If you want some information on hotel sales and catering on-line courses/ Entry level salaries, negotiating.  Hotel sales positions typically pay the best and can advance to the well paid General Manager Positions.  There are some free online courses at www.aprinda.com
