Question
I am currently doing a project for one of my hospitality classes. I am trying to find research on Convention Managers, especially convention managers who work in a hotel based facility. I was wondering if you could give me any information on the average daily work hours you have to work (like 9am-5pm), Do you work holidays, and how many hours a week do you usually work.

Thank you so much!

Answer
It has been my experience that convention managers have to work around the convention hours and client needs. This may be early mornings, late nights and weekends typically at least 50 hours a week. There are really no set hours for salaried management positions.
