Question respected sir,
im a student from india persuing economics and intend to do my MBA.Recently i was suggested by my uncle to think about a career in hotel managment as he accentuated on the fact that there would be a major dearth of hotel managment professionals in india in the coming two years with more than seventy hotels coming up.well i did give it a serious thought but was a little bemused as to not persue my mba and do a course in managment would be lucrative or not.
I would be delighted if you could guide me in this aspect.
Answer The answer is Yes, Yes and...well Yes!
India is a booming region of the world for hoteliers and you would be making a wise decision to enter such a career. Getting an MBA will make you more marketable, so I highly recommend pursuing one especially if you anticipate a venture within this industry.
