Hi , this year is my final year for studying in a secondary school , my ambition is to become a cardiac surgeon but I'm totally confused about what degree or diploma should I take but I have already planned something . I will talk about my plan , I want to continue my study in college and take Diploma in Medical Lab Technologist next year and plan to further my studies in University and take MBBS or known as Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery . My question is , can I continue my study to take MBBS in the future if I take Diploma in Medical Lab Technologist ? Please answer my question as soon as possible because I really need a guideline on how to become a cardiac surgeon . I know this question may be out of topic but please help me .

The MBBS is a degree offered commonly in the UK and other countries but not in the US.  I really can only provide information on education and training for US doctors wishing to pursue cardiac surgery as a career.  However, read this article and follow these links for some insight that might give you an American perspective on this valuable art and science:
